Paste the ID
The trace response returns it as trace_id. A sealed trace also has a proof link in the dashboard.
Read the signed envelope
The proof page shows the issuer, the hashes and the Ed25519 signature exactly as recorded, read from the ledger when you open it.
Compare your copy
Recompute the composite hash from the item hashes and compare it with the seal.

- Issuer domain and whether it is verified
- Every item in the bundle with its hash and signature
- composite_hash, the SHA-256 over the item hashes in order
